Buenos días Blanes!

Woke up to the sound of the waves. Breakfast in hotel with a sea view and then a very hot walk (with suntan cream of course) along the front to the weekly market and then the food market, which is just one street back from the sea. I bought a cotton bag as the one I brought from a favourite shop from Rio has zip problems. Oh, and a very light multi-coloured loose short-sleeved jacket thing. I know it will be useful and worn. We then wandered up through some of the narrow streets, enjoying observing daily life of those who live here. 

This is now our view, mid-afternoon. I've added an extra as nothing quite says summer like a multi-coloured parasol.

I think we may have found a new favourite place! It feels so much further away than 1.5 hours on a local train!
