Virginia Bluebells (Mertensia virginiana)
This was one of several dozen garden shots. With a little sun and low teen temps (Celsius), the garden is starting to pump up the blip potential quotient.
When it came time to edit the pics of the day I realized that my ring flash had cast/reflected/refracted an almost dreamy light upon the soon to expand flowers. They're notoriously difficult to shoot as they hang down, about 6-8" from the ground. It doesn't mean I won't blip them when in full bloom, but this was definitely one of the surprises from today's garden blipping.
