Today's the day ......................... to relax

After all the excitement of yesterday, today was a day to take things easy.

We spent a long time over the most wonderful Sunday lunch. Then, later on in the afternoon we went to hear Marie Claire sing with her choir in a concert in the village of Le Pin. There were actually three choirs taking part - singing individually and also all together - to raise money for Les Restaurants du Choeur, a French charity which provides food for the homeless.

This is a little bit of one of Marc's exquisite wood carvings. The whole thing is a band with several different musicians - but it's the trumpeter that is my favourite .....................
