Gotcha!

We went to Hidcote Gardens this morning for it opening (you do have to book a slot at the moment). We knew it would be hot but I just needed to walk around some beautiful gardens and I was desperate to get some nice insect shots. The butterflies were thin on the ground but the dragonflies, and in particular this one, more than made up for it. Isn't it fabulous when a dragonfly keeps coming back to the same area?! 
There's a lot less in flower than when Stephie and I were there 8 weeks ago but the gardens still looked beautiful. Banana leaves in extras and Rob with his hat! Dragonfly best viewed "large" and Rob is always viewed large :-))
