Fun Friday

The boys had a lovely sleepover.  Although Xander didn't fall asleep until after 10 and he was up at 5. I organised them to be dropped he early as I needed to go and pick up Lincolns glasses.  My receptionist friend Julie had managed to get the optician to give Carson a pair of proper glasses that didn't have any strength in them. He keeps playing with L's ones . 

We then went to the usual place park as it is all under shade and would be good for the wildlings to be out of the sun. They played in hammocks,  roasted marshmallows,  swung, climbed, chalked the ground and experimented with science water experiments that had been set up by the staff that run the park . 

When we got home I set up some water plsy in the garden and made a slip and slide. All was fun and well for the first couple of hours. Xander has been so distressed and was in meltdown for ages, Lincoln is over tired and is in the middle of having a time out. This is what happens with both of them if they ever have something different or out their routine like a sleepover.  Their emotions come bubbling out . I shall be having wine later. 

We might go and cycle to meet Mr R from work .
