Another hot and dry day. Lots of bees, butterflies and other insects in the garden, I kept in the shade for most of the day.

Used my new electric planer to take a few millimetres off the bottom a bedroom door as it was sticking following the fitting of a new carpet.

The hosepipe ban is looming
