The one and only pic
I woke this morning with a bout of vertigo. I was non too pleased as I’d had a really good day yesterday and had another sewing day planned for today.
The question was do I stay at home and roast, or go to Sturton village main hall, which is always cold and has enormous ceiling fans, a bit like a wind tunnel.
The prospect of the fans won and so B drove me over accompanied by all my gear which I had prepared yesterday. I was left in safe hands, as two of my sewing friends are nurses and another is a retired paramedic.
Lots to chat whilst we helped one another. There was a sudden horrible noise from one of the sewing machines, a few expletives and then silence. D’s machine looked terminal. When we eventually got this bit dismantled we found that the problem was as expected, loads of threads, fluff and muck had clogged it up. A good clean out and reassemble, did the trick and it was soon purring nicely.
I was wiped out by the time B collected me, so home for a sleep in a steaming hot house. The vertigo has eased a bit, but is still unpleasant.
