......I'm in the money.......

My secret weapon for the fishing match worked.......unfortunately it didn't work as well as some others.

I caught 10lb 6 oz....including a nice carp, first fish of the day......and three nice bream in the last hour. I came 6th out of 18....but that was good enough to win my section of 6....so I got my £5 stake money back.

The weather was appalling.......cold....windy.....and wet.....so hot shower when I got home.....and dinner....and now I'm off out for a beer.

I know I haven't commented much the last couple of days.....just been so busy.....I will try to catch up when I get back.

They're on the plane despite Charlie's chicken pox......should be in Manchester 7.40 tomorrow.
