We Meet Again

Thursday Gang in the morning, the first for a week or two. Not much to do by way of preparation for Saturdays home friendly and in the sapping heat none of us were inclined to do much. We eventually called it a day at lunchtime and headed off home.
After a glass or two of iced water Josh, Tiana and I headed down town. Hot, humid and crowded we did what we needed to before heading home again, changing and heading out for a row with Epic.
I’ve met the current Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, Edward Bolitho, a couple of times, the last time was at the Sherborne Abbey Memorial Service last Friday. As our Patron Edward, accompanied by his wife Alexandria, arrived to row tonight and on recognising me stopped for a brief catch up.
We all enjoyed rowing, Josh, the Bolitho's and I and Tiana enjoyed watching.
A late McDonalds take away solved the dinner problem.
