Aftermath

Slept much better last night…… had a lazy morning, cool under the ceiling fan ;-)

Once I was up decided I should move so opted for a walk into town….. Bardot top summer dress & sandals, in an attempt to keep cool…. not sure it worked, as I sat outside with my coffee, in the sun lol

Spent a leisurely hour before ambling home at a snails pace…. todays blip is the sad sight of my friends cars & house post the fire on Wed night :-(

It looks as thought they will be staying with family for several months, structurally unsound, no utilities, complete rewire needed … makes me feel very sad for them, heartbreaking sight. I did think long & hard before sharing this image, but it is part of my daily life & therefore my journal too

I’ve spent the afternoon day in the garden reading, sun cream on, making the most of the last hot day supposedly!

I’ve just looked at the forecast for the next few days, the predicted rain seems to have disappeared :-/ much cooler though, not that that will help with the water shortages :-(
