Eyes on You
We had yet another pleasant day with mild temps. We decided today was the day to make our home COVID free. We stripped both beds, sanitized every surface we may have touched, sprayed Lysol everywhere and opened the windows to bring in fresh air. Four loads of laundry later…. Since I still have the nasty cough, we decided it best not to go to Mass. I doubt I am contagious but folks would probably be uncomfortable being around me. My friend put us on the prayer chain so many parishioners are aware we were both infected. Maybe we can find an on line Mass. A lot of the ones we watched during COVID are no longer available. While cleaning the kitchen, a couple hummers looked like fighter pilots vying for the feeder. Never mind that I have two feeding stations set up in front of the house. At times, it appeared I was also a target. This shot was taken from the front porch. With all my energy, I decided to make a nice middle of the day meal. After plating my food, it struck me that all but the German pork roast and baked sweet potato, was from my garden: squash with onions, slaw, and sliced tomatoes. That was fun. Millie is starting to lose her meals again. We had such high hopes on this new food. Not sure what else we can do. Hubby is at the pet store checking their wet food. Sure hope you each had a pleasant weekend. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such kind notes and stars. Stay vigilant.
"May my faith always be
at the end of the day
like a hummingbird...
returning to its favorite flower."
