River of Flowers

Monday: Pollinators

Woke up at 7am to gentle rain which continued for an hour or so, then stopped and remainder of the day was sunny.
On Twitter footage of floods in Truro, Cornwall and Rosscommon, Ireland.
Today's gardening jobs: outdoor tomatoes are growing tall and strong - I've tied them to bamboo for support; transplanted wallflower seedlings (from own saved seed) into cells and a few cells of lettuce seeds for late pickings.
Lots of pollinators in the garden … until I started taking photos! Bumblebee on wild Cow Parsley and an unidentified insect on a very late flowering Welsh Poppy …
Took my dinner outdoors to enjoy the late evening sunshine, almost had heart failure when the Robin swooped from the tree and almost landed on my plate!! Shifted the pot holding the tree fern and the Robin was happy catching “creepy crawlies” :-))
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
