Tuesday: Anglesey Show 2023
Weather had been wet overnight and there were some showers around when we woke up but by the time we had eaten breakfast the sky brightened, MrD decided he was going off to the mountains on his motorbike and I set off for The Anglesey Show …
It was a good sign that things were picking up when I found myself directed to the second field from the showground and as I walked to the ticket office everything looked busy …
The first person I bumped into was Edward who was at school with MrD and had worked in the drawing office when I was a draughtswoman, his wife was with him and it was very nice to chat with her too :-))
There was a nice atmosphere as I continued walking around, the person I’d wanted to see was deep in conversation which I wasn’t going to interrupt - will try to catch up with them soon.
For lunch I bought home baked items from a friend whom I’ve known for about 10 years, haven’t seen her due to Covid closing events down and she’s taken a year off and now has a baby son :-)
A couple of hours exploring the Show was quite enough. I drove home via Lidl where I did a little shop, had lunch at home then had a couple of hours relaxing whilst reading :-))
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
