It’s Back

Saturday morning seemed to have arrived early as we headed out to Wendron Cricket Club for the Falmouth & Penryn Veterans Breakfast Club August meet up. Wendron has become one of the groups favourites ever since we found out that the deal included unlimited fried bread. So that’s unlimited tea, coffee, toast & fried bread with a full English consisting of two of everything all for £7, what’s not to like.

Home changed and off to the rugby club where todays friendly was called off by the opposition at the last minute so in scorching heat the clubs players, including Joshua, played a couple of twenty minute sessions. I’m not sure what they gained from it, not a lot of coaching going on but a lot of perspiration, I guess they enjoyed it, any rugby is better than no rugby.
We then adjourned to the clubhouse to watch South Africa v New Zealand, we were moved on before Argentina v Australia so we watched that in the Killigrew Arms.
A prawn madras finished the night.
