Fireworks

Friday The 13th
A Dad & Daughter start to the day, breakfast in Truro, good quality but expensive before our joint favourite, the book store. Art supplies for Sam, some banking for me before home. A long walk for Paddy before Clare and I headed down to the pier to catch the Fireworks Boat.

Every year Falmouth Royal Naval Association hires one of the pleasure cruisers to take ninety Shipmates, friends and guests out for a two and a half hour cruise around the rivers culminating with the end of Falmouth Week Firework Display. This year we limited the numbers to seventy-five, not as crowded but as much fun. The display was shorter than normal but as enjoyable.

The cruise ship, ‘Spirit Of Adventure’, brightly lit up in the harbour added to the spectacle.
