Thaumatomyia Notata .....

..... or is it a chlorops pumilionis? Answers on a postcard please.

Well, at last we had some rain, bucketfuls of it. We need more obviously, but at least it seems to have got the jasmine flowers to open up again. They are quite small themselves, just 2 cm across, so the fly was really tiny,  just a few mm long. Not as sharp as I would have liked, but I only got one go.

Mainly an admin day. And the last episode of Better Call Saul. I may watch Pompey again this evening too if I can get the streaming to work.
