While the car was in Windermere getting new tyres I had a walk up Orrest Head.

Up the steep, direct way (in less than the 20 mins the notice in extras says) and back down the easier but longer winding route.

Things have changed since I was last up. There’s some new seating at the summit and the wide path made to improve access now goes all the way to the top.
