GETTING A BIT TIGHT

It's W-I-D-E Wednesday....but this shot hardly fits the theme for the day (local beauty spot).  However, if you could see the whole track you'd be impressed with its beauty....nestled in the rolling hills of the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.

But there is also beauty at a smaller level; just seeing the cars is manna from heaven for a motorhead; watching a skilled driver make an inside pass on a tight corner; watching the skill of the corner workers and the flagman; the sound of a perfectly tuned McLaren or the "feel" of a cadre of NASCARs as they swing past your perch on the hillside.  It all makes for a beautiful experience.

Did I mention that Road America has the best track food anywhere? If you leave hungry from this place it's your own fault.
