Day 2 of our holiday in Valencia. Caught the metro to Alameda and walked south through the Jardins del Turia to the science museum - spectacular buildings.
Stopped for a coffee then walked back through the gardens to Alameda and got the tube back to our hotel. Lazed at the hotel pool for a couple of hours, then out again, into the old town for drinks before dinner.
Unfortunately a big game on that evening along the coast - Villa Real v Hadjuk Split - and crowds of Hadjuk fans had congregated in Placa del la Verge. Police eventually herded the fans along past where we were sitting having a drink, so we dived inside the bar out of the way.
Had paella at a lovely restaurant, hotel Siglo, tucked around the corner from placa del Reina.
