Wild on Sunday

We had a very wonderful service at church today, Gordon's last sermon as Minister was outstanding.  There was standing room only in the church, and it was nice to see people who had been trained by Gordon at Claremont for the ministry and other tasks within the church had returned for this service.  After the service there were some speeches, and presentations made to both Gordon and Karen. 

Gordon and Karen and their girls invited everyone into the church hall for refreshments which turned out to be more like lunch.  They will be sorely missed, and as a church we are unsure of what will happen now.  There is talk of merging with another church, but the Presbytery are being very quiet about what they want and we do not have a free hand.
Time will tell.
