Perfect day

Being one of four, all with two children each and some with OH’s, getting together can be tricky.  However we usually manage it once a year, normally at my sisters house as she has more room, bigger garden, is a great cook and loves hosting.

The weather was great today and we sat outside to eat, and enjoyed chatting and laughing.  L had a random croquet set for a birthday present so we played a couple of games and got used to the rules.  However my game was interrupted by lunch and we didn’t go back to it.  Younger, more energetic family members also played tennis but I didn’t.  It was a lovely day and a blessing to all be together.  Even Howard behaved and was a good dog.

Home for cheese (still eating from Wednesday) and an episode of Saul.
