Calvert Marine Museum

Today was my grandson's last day of summer vacation. He starts second grade tomorrow. My older granddaughter starts first grade next week. School vacations are nearly over.
Since it was their last day together I wanted to make it a special one, so I took them to the Calvert Marine Museum.
The main is Drum Point Lighthouse, the focal point of the museum.
The extras show some of the views at the museum. The kids are posing in front of a mock-up of a megalodon shark, a lionfish, a blue crab, and the Ark of Hungerford Creek, which crossed the Atlantic multiple times. (It is incredible to imagine that that tiny wooden boat made that crossing!)
