Unfinished

The state of repairs at this house never changes, it seems.
Sort of like the sweater I've been working on for years. A couple of days ago I picked it up again to finally finish, but I think moths have paid more attention to it than I have. It has one hole in the side and the yarn in the skein I'm working on has many weak and frayed places. I'm going to put it in the freezer for a couple of days to kill any remaining larvae, and then finish knitting it already. Then I'll have a ready-made pretty used-looking sweater. Like buying jeans with holes in the knees.
I'm well aware of the danger of putting something into the freezer and leaving it there: we have a chunk of our wedding cake in it - 34 years on.
