Another sunrise

Dog woke me at 4:30, barking ferociously, I think the foxes are back! Couldn’t get back to sleep and gave in around 5:30.

My positivity plan worked fine for the morning, did some cleaning chores, popped to the village and bought a chicken! I will cook! No point cooking for one, so I asked Alf he’d like to come for dinner tomorrow. He was thrilled and we settled on a ‘proper Sunday lunch’ time of 2pm. Half an hour later I got a message from Stef telling me she had tested positive for Covid! I was with her for three hours yesterday, sitting opposite, we hugged etc. now I’m in a quandary. So far I’m negative, but Alf is 91 and I don’t want to take any risks. I also have a busy week ahead, and didn’t bring enough stuff home with me to work effectively at home. So, fingers and everything else crossed! 

After that My energy levels dropped considerably! I dead headed some roses and severely pruned an old and woody buddleia and that was it! Don’t really know what I did the rest of the day.
