Towing the Line
Over at Tims until Tuesday.
Came by three buses and the final bus developed an engine fault as we were on the high climb over the moor on the way to Hebden Bridge.
The bus was full of overseas tourists who had alighted the bus at Haworth and there were lots of ooohs and aaahs, : either at the stunning scenery or because of the struggling bus.
The air brakes were working and we gently cruised down into Calder Valley and made it to the railway station where Tim picked me up and the driver called for a replacement bus.
A very lazy afternoon except Adele and l had a walk to Mytholmroyd and back along the canal.
Now sat in the garden with the fire pit glowing.
No usual hot tub due to the water shortage.
