The Ancient Mariner Rose

Dad’s Rose was looking good today.

We finally met local academic, author, ornithologist and Biodiversity expert Alex Lees when out looking for Wheatears and Whinchats.

We did see a Wheatear but not close enough for a good photo.

In the evening, I sat still (I am not known for this) though all of Mahler’s 2nd Symphony from the Proms.
