Table of Love

This bronze sculpture by Gillie and Marc features two of their favourite characters, Rabbitwoman and Dogman. In nature, dogs and rabbits are not usually friends but here we have them communing in spite of their differences. These characters and the sculptures in which they appear celebrate diversity and symbolise the importance of acceptance of others. 

While Gillie and Marc are respectively British and Australian citizens, their ancestries reflect varied cultures and beliefs. Their exposure to hardship and disadvantage have led to their sharing the same values.
