Snap! Crackle!

PoP! PoP!

The Santa Rita cactus was covered (well it had about five) with flowers this morning, reflecting the sunlight brilliantly!

I love how each variety of cactus has it's biggest flurry of bloom at just slightly different times, one following the other. Then it's a flower here and a flower there.

My fractured ribs are feeling much better. Surprisingly, it's my broken finger which is still causing me pain. I think that's going to take the full six weeks to heal.
