Bali

We got this wee Corgi for Kara when we visited Balmoral last year and named it Bali. They’ve always been a firm favourite for a cuddle ever since. With the news of the Queen’s passing today it was worth another squeeze.

Really feels like the end of an era for obvious reasons. I’ve a lot of time for the Royal family and it does seem strange that such an institution will now change. I’m glad it’s Charles to take over. I wonder if he’ll be as outspoken when in charge or maybe he won’t or maybe it’ll be more behind closed doors in private.

At the end of the day, a family has lost someone and that’s always sad. I’m just glad they were all at Balmoral where they can, hopefully, have more privacy for a day or two, than if it was back in London.
