A souvenir from 1952

I had a quick look through some of our old books and found this. It cost 8 shillings and sixpence. I looked up the equivalent value today and found it was around £10. It is a hardback and is full of photographs both colour and black and white so I suppose that’s about right.

I will have a look through before Charles has his coronation !

I also found books on the weddings of Charles and Diana, Princess Margaret and  Prince Andrew. None of them worked out well! I think my mother must have bought these.

Let’s hope things go well for all the funeral arrangements and that Charles continues with the promises and good image he projected yesterday in his speech that we saw on TV.
