Spruced up!

Barry took Reg to the groomers today to have his coat stripped. He really dislikes having it done and since we've moved here he's not been. It really needed doing before the winter, so the plunge was taken! Barry warned the groomers that he might be upset and would certainly let them know. He offered to stay but they said they would deal with it and call him if they couldn't. Three hours later he emerged very  much less hairy and two sizes smaller! The groomer said they'd found his limits and hadn't done his chest or round his muzzle as it made him very unhappy! We are so pleased that they were able to do as much as they have without Reg being banned from returning! They were also able to cut his nails. All such a relief for us as he needed to shed that thick heavy mane before the wet and cold of winter. We will certainly be returning to them.(before photo in extras)
While all that was going on I was at my sewing group and managed to cut out a dress and a pair of trousers. All I have to do now is sew them together! It was a lovely afternoon with lots of chatter over a cuppa with good friends.
All in all a successful day.
