We Found The Sunflowers ...

... that Stiffknees blipped a few weeks ago. A lot of them are past their best, but lots are still going strong.

My blip today was otherwise going to be a composite of two gas vehicles, entitled the gasmen cometh. First we had a Flogas bulk LPG delivery, which nearly didn't happen as he had trouble reversing up our shared drive. He now has to have a line of sight between the tank and the lorry. Every minute or so an alarm went off which he had to cancel with a remote device. If he doesn't cancel it then it assumes he is dead and the gas is switched off. We still have a fixed price Flogas contract for another year, but the driver was saying one of the people he visited today was an ex Calor customer who had been paying over twice the price we have now.

About half an hour later we had a boiler service visit from British Gas (or rather Hewer as they have subcontracted the jobs out). Everything was good.

Pompey scraped a 2-0 win last night. It wasn't easy to watch at times. In previous years they would have lost a game like that, so I am still optimistic for the season, although there is still a long way to go.
