Plums

A busy day of baking, with some lovely sunny weather in the garden.
I have been thinking about these plums, it would be a shame to waste them but the freezer is definitely full. The only option is to make them into more preserves. I will see if I have any energy for that at the weekend. I still have the marrows to deal with!
I had a message from my sister who has been looking after her son’s dachshund Bagel. Matt has emigrated to Australia and today Bagel flew off to be with him. She has a courier to accompany her so she will be well looked after, but it’s a long journey for a pup. Helen will really miss her as they have definitely bonded.
