Someone posted a photo of the Bluenose II in the Halifax Harbour yesterday. I checked the schedule and found out it was here today as well. According to the website it was supposed to be booked for a harbour cruise at 1:30 this afternoon. I watched for it till almost 2 pm, but it never left the dock.
I had thought about taking the ferry over and having a walk along the Halifax waterfront, until I saw a third cruise ship arriving in the harbour. Between the 3 of them, it brought over 3000 people to Halifax today. On Saturday there will be 4 ships here with over 9000 people. Definitely stay away from the Halifax waterfront and Peggy's Cove that day.
