Helping hand
He wanted Mom to make more cookies. She'd made a big batch of white chocolate-pistachio ones when we arrived a week and a half ago, and they were a hit. But time-consuming. So she put him to work stirring the dough, which was very stiff and "a lot more work than he'd thought." Rather grumpy. Mom and I grinned at each other.
We're at the ten day mark, still staying upstairs for the most part but venturing down once in awhile. Walked the whole way around the (big) block tonight, woo-hoo! Also talked with both kids, which was great. D. needed some information on registering to vote, which happily he's now done.
Extra: zinnia drooping from a faded bouquet.
