Tributes outside Hampton Court Palace

I’ve not been past Hampton Court since the Queen died a week ago so today I did a quick cycle and found that quite a few flowers had been placed outside. Not many people about so it was easy to actually read the nice cards. There were cards and flowers from all at the Royal School of Needlework at the Palace and another from the Volunteers who help there. I liked this one too “ Elizabeth II Our Queen. Small in stature but full to the brim with love, compassion and understanding. “ also see another one in the extra from some people from South Wales.

A pity they have not taken off the cellophane and plastic coverings of the bunches as it would look much better!

Very autumnal this morning and a chill in the air.
