The Nuthouse Cafe has added fresh fruit to its menu and so far received rave reviews.  The grapes are particularly in demand and management is trying out different offerings to see which get the most favorable response.  Suggestions welcome.

Lizzie got a wonderful grade on her bloodwork from yesterday.  The vet was very pleased and she doesn't have to go back for a year, at least for that.  She'll need her claws trimmed before winter sets in and she starts sticking to the carpet.

I spent nearly two hours this afternoon watching the Smithsonian's presentation about the Tower of London on TV, one of the places I would truly love to see.  Of course its history is fascinating and the remarkable people who take care of it are delightful.  I'm  particularly fond of the RavenMaster, Yeoman Warder Christopher Skaife who cares for the resident ravens without whom, as legend says, the tower would crumble to dust.
