Visitors for a Change

A change for me today when l went to YorkGate as a visitor with three friends for afternoon tea.
Not celebrating anything but just being friends.
We had time to look around the gardens and we were still there as it was closing so it was just us in the garden, very special.

Nearly didn’t get my 10, 000 steps in yesterday as l had a fall.
Took Kitty and Verity home after school and while they got changed for ballet l decided to take Ronnie for a quick walk.
He was so excited as we stepped out of the house he crossed in front of me and l was already mid step and went for a tumble as his lead tripped me up onto the paving flags.
Ronnie thought this was great fun and bounded on top of me and started licking my face:-))
I lay still for a moment and tentatively moved my legs , all good so l called for the girls who came down half dressed and helped me up.
No bones broken thank goodness.
After a little sit down to compose myself l did take Ronnie on the walk and got my last steps in.
A hot bath and painkillers and all is good today except for bruising.
A good walk this morning was testament to that.
Only my pride was hurt.
