CORSICA - DAY 6 - AJACCIO

We swapped the day around today…town first then pool time!!!
#we decided to get the boat across the bay to Ajaccio. It saved the 25 min journey and parking issues and was only 6€/p each way….no!!! It was still free day!! It was so calm going over and we were dropping right by the main part of town.
# more transport…the land train…I do love them (such a kid!!). We had to pay for this trip be!
#we had a stop off at Place De Austerlitz…with a monument of Napoleon Bonaparte with the most amazing views across the bay.
#anothet 15 mins on the train to Îles Sanguinaires…the islands don’t look impressive in my photo but they were. Back on the train for the last 20 mins…an hour and a half on the land train…the longest I’ve known!!
#back to the cathedral (where we gate crashed a wedding yesterday!)
# to see the font where Napoleon was baptised.
After a rougher boat crossing back

#we spent the afternoon at the pool. Delicious pizza to share by the pool.
#then watched the sunset from the restaurant where we had a delicious fish soup. (Yesterday we shared one as a starter!!)
