Taken for Granite

We’re very pleased with our new granite step leading from the walkway onto the patio. For years we’ve stepped over a short wall but with our own years adding up we wanted something more stable, and safer. It’s aesthetically more pleasing, too. The guys also put in a row of cobblestones behind a mulch bed that runs along the side of the house. Everything looks great! • We’re expecting 30-40 mph wind gusts tonight and tomorrow as Hurricane Fiona tracks east of Maine. I think we dodged a bullet but my thoughts are now with Nova Scotia where Fiona is expected to make landfall • I can’t believe it’s Friday again!
