If we let the mind go completely, then it will become very wild and chaotic. So we let the mind go, but at the same time there is some discipline involved. Rydyn ni'n dechrau'r diwrnod gyda myfyrdod cyn brecwast, dysgeidiaethau, a'r gweddill y dydd. Y rhan fwyaf yw'r myfyrdod yw distaw, wedi ei atalnodi gan arferion canu. Distaw yw'r prif beth oherwydd nid ydyn ni wedi arfer treulio amser heb gysyniad, felly myfyrdod yn gweithio erbyn caethiwed i feddyliau.

We start the day with meditation before breakfast, teachings, and the rest of the day. Most of the meditation is silent, punctuated by chanting practices. Silence is the main thing because we are not used to spending time without a concept, so meditation works against addiction to thoughts.
