New Growth

These rushes had been well and truly butchered in the autumn and I wondered whether they would survive - for months they just sat there in the pond looking brown and dead. When I visited this morning though, just look what I saw... lots of new growth has spring up. I added this old film frame to my photo because I liked it, but then began to wonder whether I should turn it in to a negative... you can see the difference that made here. Which one do you think I should have used as my blip?
