Towards the hills

Our afternoon flu vaccine appointments get us out of the house and, following a thankfully quick and efficient visit to the local surgery, on to a walk around the reserve. 

Heavy skies, flat light and low tide mean photo opportunities are limited, but as we’re walking back along the estuary, the ducks on the lagoons seem suddenly spooked and fly over our heads in varying formations, across the near-dry river towards the hills. Today’s blip - with some ‘faffing’!
