Do It Twice

Yesterday was double jab day. Today was double rehearsal day. On the left, Panto. Still in very early stages, hence scripts in hand and the director giving instruction. On the right, the play. Only ten days until opening night, hence bits of costume and props being used and no scripts in sight. Though maybe there should have been, as tonight’s play rehearsal revealed that there are still quite a few scenes I need to work on!
Consequently it’s been a very long and tiring day, not helped by the side effects of yesterday’s jabs kicking in this evening. Definitely a lot of brain fog tonight, though I’m doing better than Mrs C who has really suffered today. Hopefully we’ll both be back to normal (or as normal as we get!) tomorrow.
Not that the pressure is going to ease at all. Tonight was the first night in an unbroken run of rehearsals and performances that will continue until Monday 10th October. Technically, I have a night off rehearsals next Saturday, but we’re going to a concert that night so I’ll still be out until late!
