Cards, friends, and ghost's
Once the big wildlings went out the door I got ready to walk to town. Stuck on my new wellies as it was raining a little. And then halfway there it went to glorious sunshine. I felt like a tube wearing them when it was sunny.
First thing on my list was to pick up my card's from the printers. Half of these have been ordered from people already. That makes me happy.
I then met my friend Eileen for a catch up. She's a author, a traveller, a drummer, an American who found out she had long lost relatives in Budapest, she's lived in Thailand in a hut for twenty years, and she's a teacher. We haven't seen each other in nearly 4 years. So it was fantastic to have a catch up. The jedi was so good when we were catching up in Costa.
The weirdest and scariest thing happened when I was cycling with Carson to pick up Harp. I'm glad some random man witnessed it or I would sound like a right fruit loop. We cycled our usual way , and the next , there was a thump to the side of the trailer and it ended up on its side. What a massive shock. We didn't hit a kerb, or a hole or anything. Thank goodness the jedi was ok, he wasn't even shaking up. Both my shoulders feel like they have whiplash in them from near coming off the bike. The man said it looked like it was pushed over. I'm quite glad I won't be cycling for a while . I called Mr R when I got home.
The boys had a good day at school. They're now chilling on tech. I'm sitting in the garden while the jedi plays. Harp is inside.
Grandad is looking well today. He has a patch on his eye. Carson called him " pirate Grandad ". Nana says they're fine to watch the wildlings tomorrow while I go for my pre-op.
