Breakfast on the balcony

Better than breakfast in bed I reckon, especially on a lovely day like today...
Well I didn't make a single sale today - because Shawbury have blocked me out of all their programs! The boss wanted to put me on Grand Designs next week... so I had to tell him I'm leaving... (I could have not done so until Monday as planned, or even gone on the show, but those options didn't feel right). He initially said I had today then he'd block me, but when I went to access a customer details, he'd already blocked me. Ah well, means I concentrate on booking appointments for the next 2 weeks, rather than diluting my focus by still trying to sell for Shawbury. He was polite, but clearly seething inside, that I could even countenance joining "The Enemy". His exact words were "well thank you for your time at Shawbury, etc, etc." and "thank you for how you've conducted yourself, etc, etc." A bit rude, I felt - like "obviously I have to say this, but I don't mean it". Anyway, after about 10 minutes feeling a bit strange about it being over so suddenly, I feel fine, raring to go. Good chat with Phil (Wineomania boss) again. And two nice messages from the only two reps I really respect at Shawbury (future recruits for Wineomania, perhaps?!). Also great to have a video call with David & Leyna in North Cornwall... Got 10 appointments booked in, hoping to make that 20, looking forward to seeing everyone, and hoping for a good lot of sales... I think they'll be pleased with the wines, and especially with their lower prices than Shawbury!
