Druridge Bay Country Park

Today’s event took place in a mix of sand dunes and country park. After a few easier controls we were plunged into the dunes. It was really difficult to pick out the features with a number of people overshooting their controls and having to double back. It was then a long run round the lake.

We stayed on to give Jet a decent walk. A lovely day on the coast. Fortunately made it back to the car before a heavy down pour.

Rather liked these colourful canoes awaiting their next outing.
