Fire Hazard

A lovely day today with friends staying. Church this morning followed by a soup and cheese lunch then a walk up Blackford Hill in the sunshine - and in shorts. It is not often I can wear shorts on my birthday but today has been one such day.

Whether it is advancing years or, hopefully more likely the after effects of the flu vaccine and Covid booster I kept dozing off for a while. Apart from that the only side effects so far have been stiff arms.

A zoom chat with my brother and family was then followed by a very enjoyable Chinese takeaway rounded off with home made carrot cake (with thanks to my wife).

67 candles were too many to put on the cake and we were worried that even those we had might trigger the new alarm system. Fortunately not.
