Colour on the bridge

The flowers are still going strong on the bridge. The village has have plenty to maintain its classification as a 'village fleuri' despite being criticised for its watering regime. Apparently, the water is environmentally sourced but the judging committee is encouraging the use of plants needing much less water. I was down in town early and did the market shopping, lots of lovely fresh fruit and veg all from small local growers. I returned to do some admin and have my tennis lesson. Our Francophone was not available for French conversation so it fell to me to be the 'animateur.' I was back in time to welcome Natalie for my haircut. Then, Marianne came round to sort out some paperwork for our painting association. Lots of activity today but nothing too rushed.
