Not really a station!

This is the sign for the lovely little playground which was created about six years ago very near the railway line and alongside Strawberry Hill Golf course. I think it was just a strip of unused land  owned by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It has large wooden structures suitable for ages 3 - 10. There is a wooden train and a life size Fat Controller statue too . It is very near Stanley School so today after picking up the twins we went there. They love playing on the big ‘spiders web’ climbing area,  also going up wooden poles with footholds and then down the fireman’s pole. There is a also a huge spider and a huge cricket in a sandpit too!

It was pouring with rain this morning but brightened up quickly and then was sunny and warmer.

Today I heard of two people who are going to the Palace this week to collect an MBE and and OBE( both delayed because of COVID) …a friends daughter who works in the MOD and an ex-colleague who was a head of two successful schools. Not sure who will do the presentations, probably not King Charles?
